Hello, everybody. Today, I’m starting over to share some of my experience been exploring and ‘tied into’ the world of internet. Years back, I tried hard not to. I don’t exactly know why but I resist myself the temptation to let myself ‘present’ on the internet. I declare myself in the ‘ordinary’ world by seeking and doing jobs that has no connection to the internet. Everyday is a 9 - 5 or 8 - 4 to me. And then get paid at the end of month. A salary of $600 - $900 are fair enough. Sad but true; that is me before eventually end up being a Developer earning full time income - which is right now. (More appropriate to be labeled - a Businessman.)
It has been almost 5 years now - and that amount as if were 10 years to me. Not to show off here, but in that years, I’ve been through about almost everything there is to be understood about the world of internet. Before venturing myself online (plug my computer with a modem), I’ve studied about Graphic and Web Design, using Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, MS Office, Acrobat, HTML & CSS and one the most feared of all: PHP coding. I’ve equip myself a bit and then I venture into the internet. It’s like preparing myself with weapons - better that way. If to add up all those years practicing computer; fair enough to make me a ‘Computer Geek’. Expert or not, I’m just a simple guy with flaw and error. Nobody’s perfect. But, honestly; I started to know internet at the time where IE4 and 5 is the only platform to browse internet, Yahoo is the main Search Engine (Google doesn’t exist yet), most popular chat sites are Kampung & Mamak, and they’re all covered with gif’s! Sound familiar? Yeah…I’m old…(sigh…)
So now; it has been a sad, dangerous, happy and uncountable experience for me. I would like to take this opportunity to share the good and bad if you mind sharing. Nothing personal. Sometimes; we are into something that nobody could understand and we are left alone to solve or swallow it. Makes me wonder; wouldn’t it be good if we can share something that really make us ’stuck’? - and then try to see if there’s a solution to help…? Well; if you have something to share here, don’t be shy or negative to tell your story. Maybe with an interaction with each other can make this world a better day. Who knows? For me; I’m neutral. And to everybody who came here, to my blog, I thank you for dropping by.
